"Unfiltered" continues in the dark, damp, and dank vibes of Doctah X's minimalist outernational dub style. Recorded in Negril and Montego Bay, "Unfiltered" is steeped deep in the jungle country, soundsystem, bamboo salt, and ocean vibes. This release marks the first time Doctah X has used all analog recording techniques to venture into new sonic territories. "Unfiltered" is reminiscent of works by African Head Charge, Brian Eno, Adrian Sherwood and other experimental music to come from the OnU Sound label.
